Thank you for your honesty, Mr. Castle. The condition of the cities should move us to prayer and fasting before God. (However, I had fainting spells as a young man, so I hardly ever miss a meal.) The problems of American cities are not new. The Psalmist wrote, “But in the city violence and bitter strife abide,” and the Book of Lamentations, attributed to the prophet Jeremiah, mourns the sins that God punished by the destruction of Jerusalem. Francis Schaeffer, a great evangelical of the previous generation, wrote a modern version of Lamentations, which he called DEATH IN THE CITY.

What needs to be removed is this ignorant mayor, not the statue! The confederate south was right. The civil war was a state’s rights issues, the liberal marxist leftists just attach the terms slavery, sexism, homophobia and racism to anything they don’t like to divide and conquer the population and accomplish their objectives.
